Cuckoo la la
Found the marbles.
Honestly, I thought I had lost them.
Then I realised they were on the book shelf all along. Phew!
Seriously though, my brain has never quite been the same since the chiddlers came along and I now do the oddest things.
For example:
I actually laugh at Cbeebies show Gigglebiz.
Ditto Peppa Pig.
I've found myself admiring the interiors in TV show Grandpa In My Pocket.
My memory just isn't the same.
My memory just isn't the same, or have I said that already?
Going to Ikea is almost a family day out.
I've started to unashamedly watch The Wright Stuff on Five.
I'm one of the few people who actually likes Angelina Jolie.
What I want to know is will I ever be the same again? Can my tastes ever revert back to normal?
What kind of stuff do you do that you didn't do before?
Is there hope?

I cry at EVERYTHING! Will this ever stop?! I would very much like to be able to watch a tv programme without booing my eyes out!
ReplyDeleteYou are going to IKEA? You are a fancy family! We are only doing that on Swedish national day. :)
ReplyDeleteI actually lost my sweet tooth about 3 months after having little L. I would inhale about 100g chocolate plus a bag of jelly babies every day before. My body is very thankful for that little change.
Oh god, i do hope there's hope. i have to write lists. lots and lots of lists or I forget everything. where did my brain go?
ReplyDeleteI used to know what day it was, what the date was, have my diary mapped out by work - no dramas. Hubby and 3 daughters later (not to mention moving countries 3 times) my marbles have definitely been lost in transit somewhere.
ReplyDeleteI have to write lists for things to remember. The calendar-even with 3 columns per day-looks like it has been paintbombed. The girls social calendar puts an it girl in the shade.
Does life eventually get simpler?
I'm so with you on Gigglebiz, Peppa Pig and Grandpa in my Pocket. I like those nautical interiors on GIMP (just realised it shortens to that!). I like the model yacht in the living room although it wouldn't last five minutes without being pulled to bits in my house. I don't think your tastes every go back to normal. Sorry.
ReplyDeleteGreat read thanks
